Prior to becoming a specialist in hair loss treatment, I was raised in Arlington, Massachusetts. I completed my B.A. at the University of New Hampshire and went on to the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine to earn my medical degree. I then interned in Pinellas Park, Florida, followed with a residency in Toledo, Ohio. Next, I completed a preceptorship in hair transplants surgery under the late Dr. C.P. Chambers at the Chambers Hair Institute facilities throughout the United States. It was there that I developed my hair restoration skill and knowledge about hair loss treatment. In 1989, I became board certified and was licensed to practice medicine in several states. I have hospital privileges at Roger Williams Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital, as well as surgical privileges in hair restoration and hair transplants in Rhode Island at South County Hospital. I established my private practice as a hair restoration specialist in Providence, Rhode Island. There I remained, as the practice continued to grow as a result of my hair loss treatment achievements and reputation. I also became involved with several hair restoration administrative organizations and associations.
